Come learn about Florida’s fantastic falcons with Dr. Daisy Fiore from Audubon Center for Birds of Prey and her special feathered friends! How many species of falcons are found in Florida? And what makes a falcon, a falcon? Did you know this group of birds includes the planet’s fastest animal? Come learn more about these fascinating birds, which are behaviorally and physiologically distinct from other groups of birds. Dr. Daisy Fiore from the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey will share more about Florida’s fantastic falcons and where to find them. Plus, discover why many falcon species are of conservation concern.
Special instructions: Dr. Daisy Fiore will be bringing some feathered friends with her to this presentation. While the birds are out, attendees must remain seated and quiet.
