OCLS's Middle School Advisory Board

The library’s Middle School Advisory Board calls on Orange County’s middle school students to help make the library a welcoming and fun space for our community’s tweens. Recommended for students in grades 6-8 student's will earn community service by collaborating with your peers to test out new tween and teen programs, brainstorm new teen services, and more! In a virtual board meeting they'll have the opportunity to share their input regarding what teens want and need from the library, test out new teen programs and services, and work on projects that will benefit the library and their peers in the community! Register for the free monthly virtual events and earn an hour of community service for your participation. Students who register for the event should be prepared to use Zoom tools including cameras, microphones, and chats to communicate and work towards board objectives.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday each month from 4-5pm!
