AdventHealth's July 4th Watermelon 5k

Start your Independence Day the right way with a 5k! Join friends, family and neighbors for a morning celebration with ice cold watermelon and American pride. Event Highlights: Watermelon 5k Mini Towel, Ice Cold Watermelon, Watermelon Eating Contest, Yard Games at the AdventHealth Tents, FREE Kids' Run, Gender Specific Tank, $10 Discount & Special Bib for Military! Visit the AdventHealth TentsAfter the 5k cool down with an ice - cold mini towel. Keep the fun going with yard games for the family. Florida Watermelon Queen, Amber Boykin will be onsite for meet and greet, photographs and to preside over the Watermelon Eating Contest! Kids' runs are free and recommended for children 12 and under. Distances range from 100 yards to 400 yards and children will be placed in age appropriate groups. Registration available on race week. T-shirts are first come first serve. All finishers receive a ribbon.
