Take a bite out of botany! Flora for All explores the different parts of plants and the surprising ways they make their way onto our plates. From roots and stems to leaves, fruits and seeds, discover the plants hiding in plain sight in some of our favorite foods and leave with a new appreciation for the flora we enjoy every day.
Bill Frederick Park spans 183 acres along the scenic shores of Turkey Lake; one of Florida’s top five fishing lakes. Whether you’re pedaling through shaded trails, casting a line on the lake, or visiting the Children’s Farm, playground, or Nature Connect Trail, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. The park also features premier disc golf courses and offers endless opportunities for families, organizations, and nature lovers to explore, relax, and connect with the outdoors.
