Oakland Nature Preserve's Science Saturday

Gather in the ONP classroom for a brief look at butterflies and other pollinators. Afterward, we'll head to the trails to participate in Butterfly Big Day 2026- an event to document butterflies and spread awareness of their importance! Participants will be asked to download the iNaturalist app in order to submit photos of all butterflies sighted. By participating in the Big Day, you are helping track and identify the variety of butterflies on our planet as well as contributing valuable, publicly accessible, scientific data on our butterfly populations!
