Join Mead Botanical Garden's Young Naturalist Explorers class, Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 9:30am to discover the world of dragonflies and damselflies! Hike through the wetlands to learn about their incredible "superpowers," experiment with perching heights, decoys, and flight patterns, and create a journey stick using natural materials collected along the way. We recommend ages 5-12, but the family is welcome to tag along! Parent participation is not required, but a parent or guardian must remain onsite for the duration of class. Parents/Guardians are not required to purchase tickets for themselves.

What to bring? Water, binoculars, blanket/chair, closed-toe shoes/boots, and of course your sense of curiosity.
