A favorite Central Florida summer event is back at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens for more fun and adventure! Sunset at the Zoo, presented by Orlando Health, returns bringing after-hours adventure, culture and community vibes to your summer nights. This beloved summer tradition offers guests of all ages the chance to experience the Zoo after hours, with extra time to explore, enjoy themed cultural celebrations and make unforgettable memories at a low price.
Each month, Sunset at the Zoo will spotlight a different culture, featuring fun activities, themed keeper chats, local vendors, food trucks and more that celebrate the diverse communities of Central Florida. The Zoo’s popular event is on the fourth Friday from May to September:
- May 22: Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage
- June 26: LGBTQ+ Pride
- July 24: Black & African American Heritage
- August 28: Native American & Alaska Native
- September 25: Hispanic Heritage
