City of Oviedo's Independence Day Celebration

Join us for a hometown Independence Day Celebration at the Oviedo Mall on July 4, 2026! This year is a special year as we celebrate 250 years of being the United States of America! There will be a variety of vendors for kids and adults inside the mall, including shopping at all the stores! Avoid the rain and heat, and enjoy the gigantic indoor celebration of our Independence! The stage will be located at the food court with live performances from Oviedo's School of Rock and the University Performing Arts Center doing Zigfried Follies! At 7 p.m. at the Food Court Stage, there will be a talking re-enactment of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. At 8 p.m., everyone who wants to see fireworks can head outside to set up and watch Central Florida's largest Fireworks Display outside the Mall! Fireworks will start at 9 p.m. (pending weather) - be sure to get to your spot before then to enjoy! The Food Court will be open for business, where you can grab a bite to eat. This is a FREE event for the entire family!
