Each spring, Audubon hosts our Baby Owl Shower to help offset the increased costs of caring for young birds during “baby season.” This is our busiest time of year for wildlife care — sometimes caring for 100+ young birds in May alone, which can triple bird care costs. Join us for a fun, family-friendly celebration featuring crafts, games, a raffle, and visits with the Center’s Ambassador birds. Learn how you can support wildlife rehabilitation and conservation during this critical season. To participate, select an item from our Amazon Wishlist and bring it with you — or ship it directly to the Center. Admission is FREE with an item from our Amazon Wishlist!
No visit to the Orlando area is complete without a stop at our amazing Center! The Audubon Center focuses on the rescue, medical treatment, rehabilitation and release of Florida’s raptors. With live bird ambassadors and hands-on activities, participants explore the relationship of people to their natural environment while discovering the role raptors play in our local ecosystems as well as how individuals can have a positive role in the environment. Audubon Center for Birds of Prey is home to over 50 non-releasable raptors.
