Blue Swan Boulders Bouldering 101 Class

Are you new to bouldering and wondering where to start? Bouldering 101 is an entry-level course designed to introduce new climbers to the basic elements of bouldering indoors. This 1-hour course includes understanding the mechanics of proper falling techniques, risk management, bouldering etiquette, the V-scale grading system, and fundamental climbing techniques. The goal of this course is to make each participant more aware and comfortable navigating the climbing gym space while understanding the seen and unseen risks of bouldering. Recommended experience: 0-6 months climbing.
** Youth climbers under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older).
** $22 drop in or BOGO $35 for two climbers, includes rental shoes and access to the facility after the course.
