Transform learning into an adventure with hands-on field trips that inspire a love for healthy, whole foods! Students explore the journey from garden to kitchen, discovering seasonal ingredients, cultural cuisines, and creative ways to add more plants to their plates. These interactive experiences combine gardening, cooking, and fun activities to spark curiosity, teach essential skills, and promote a lifelong appreciation for nutritious eating. Perfect for independent learners, these trips provide the flexibility to meet their interests while fostering peer connections and new discoveries.

In this month’s hands-on exploration of food history, we’re traveling to ancient Ireland! Through cooking and gardening activities, students will discover how Ireland’s geography, agriculture, and traditions shaped its cuisine—from ancient grains and hearty root vegetables to comforting dishes that sustained families for generations. Together, we’ll cook classic Irish recipes with fresh ingredients from the garden, while celebrating the stories that make these dishes delicious.
