SparkGrounds Rocket Workshop

Join a crew of fellow space explorers for an exciting, instructor-led, two-hour workshop where young engineers will design, build, and paint a real working model rocket! Along the way, kids will dive into the science of rocketry—learning about aerodynamics, propulsion, and rocket design through fun, hands-on activities and guided experiments. With expert support, they’ll even run simulated launches to understand how real rockets take flight! After crafting and customizing their rockets, participants will explore the safest ways and best locations to launch them. Each young rocketeer will go home with a fully assembled rocket and all the materials needed for a real launch.
And don’t worry—we’ve got lunch covered to keep their engines running!
