Learn the art of documenting your family’s history with oral history! This practice has long existed as a way to pass stories down generation to generation. Learn how to document these oral histories, the questions you might want to ask your family members, and more! Additionally, we will have a lightbox available so you can photograph any family heirlooms. Every participant will be provided with a Gaylord Archival® Waterproof Stone Paper Notebook to get you started on your oral history journey! Each ticket ensures a class with the History Center’s Oral Historian and your chance to win one of our raffle drawing prizes: a Gaylord Archival® USB Drive & Memory Card Storage Kit OR a Sony Digital Voice Recorder with a Built-In USB Voice Recorder!

Bring your 4-year-old or your high schooler – they are sure to have a great time with our hands-on activities and projects! We also offer homeschool program, school field trips, in-class supplies, and much more!
