Perfect for adults looking to do something new with their space—and bring your kids along to make gardening a family affair. Homegrown Workshops is growing Orlando’s community of home gardeners. Whether you want to beautify your living space with ornamental flowers or do your grocery shopping in your own backyard, take part in this workshop to demystify the science and art of nurturing plants from seed to harvest.

Home Gardening 101 will get your feet wet (wear your outdoor shoes!) with first-step gardening fundamentals, from assessing your space and resources, to selecting the plants that will work best for you and Florida’s seasons, to the basics of planting. This workshop is open to adults and kids ages 12 and up.
