The Fourth Annual Malcolm X Book Fest at M.L.K. Jr. Park has been held in Winter Park, FL, every third weekend in May since 2021, in honor of one of our most courageous human rights activists, Minister Malcolm X. This year’s book festival and birthday celebration will take place on Sunday, May 18th, 2025 , commemorating the 100th birthday of El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz.
Bring the whole family to enjoy: Children’s Book Parade – Kids are invited to dress as their favorite book characters, Kids Entrepreneurship Fair – Youth can showcase and sell their products and ideas, with chances to win prizes for creativity and innovation, Live Performances special guests, meet authors, Afrocentric folklore, spoken word, cultural vendors, food trucks, And of course— books, books, and more books!
