City of Maitland’s Touch A Truck

Maitland's public works, police and fire departments will team up for a touch-a-truck event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in Independence Square with lots of really big and unique trucks, heavy equipment, and emergency vehicles. Bring the kids for a fun, up-close look at the machines that make the city work. Learn how the Public Works Department manages everything from public utilities and stormwater cleanup to grounds maintenance and more. Enjoy bounce houses, games and prizes, live music, food and more.
This event will coincide with Maitland's weekly Farmer's Market on Independence Lane. Browse a unique selection of vendors with food, crafts, local products, plants, flowers and produce. Bring the kiddos for inflatables and games in the park. Live music is courtesy of Performing Arts Matter. Enjoy downtown restaurants such as Sanford Brewing Company-Maitland, Houndstooth Kitchen & Eatery and Boku Sushi Maitland.
