In partnership with Orange County, Florida Government, our Adopt-A-Tree program is back. Trees in your landscape can provide a habitat for wildlife, create shade for homes and capture excess carbon in the air! Adopt-a-Tree events seek to give Orange County residents an opportunity to expand their landscape by giving away, or adopting, trees. Trees in the landscape serve several functions, including carbon sequestration, providing habitat for wildlife, providing shading that can potentially reduce home cooling costs, and possibly raising property values. A well placed tree in the yard can have a tremendous impact on your life. Residents can pick up available tree species from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., or until supplies last. Limit 2 per household. Residents are asked to bring proof of residency, in the form of a driver license, photo ID or utility bill.
*Dates subject to change. Tree species may very depending on delivery: Tabebuia (yellow), Crepe Myrtle, Yaupon Holly, Red Maple, Oak, Bald Cypress, Winged Elm, Japanese Blueberry, Red Cedar, Magnolia, Hong Kong Orchid.
