Performance by Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band (Mardi Gras). Considered one of the best Zydeco Bands of all time, Chubby Carrier started The Bayou Swamp Band in 1989. The band toured the United States, Canada and Europe, playing Festivals, Fairs, and music venues all over the world. In 2010 Chubby won a Grammy award for Best Zydeco or Cajun album of the year. In 2011 he was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. He is the third generation Zydeco artist to come out of the Carrier’s family.

About Saturday Sounds: Come join us on this select Saturday for our free family-friendly concert series! On certain Saturday evenings, attendees can enjoy food, beverages, and sweets from local food trucks, or they are always welcome to bring their own food and beverages to enjoy throughout the evening.
