Edible Education Experience welcomes your students for a foundational, educational experience that will jumpstart a lifelong healthy relationship with food and get your child interested in what goes on in your own kitchen. Join us for a culinary journey that celebrates Native American History Month! In this immersive cooking class, we’ll explore Native American cultures through their flavors and traditional recipes. Our educators will highlight the unique ingredients, cooking styles of various tribes and stories behind the dishes. We will also draw connections amongst the similarities between Native American farming techinques and the seasonality of our Culinary Garden.
We will be learning about the Iroquois, Seminole, Miccosukee, Puebloans, Cheyenne, Arapaho, and many more!
