Join us at Mead Botanical Garden to learn what you need to get started and how to identify birds using field clues and sound. For December, it’s for the birds! Birdwatching, or birding is a fun activity for kids of all ages. Learn what you need to get started on this life-long hobby and how to identify birds using field clues and sound. Just in time for the fall and winter migrations. We will talk about winter bird migration and then do a fun activity on bird beak adaptations followed by bird id and behavior bingo hike.

We recommend ages 5-12, but the family is welcome to tag along! Parent participation is not required, but a parent or guardian must remain onsite for the duration of class.
