History Center’s Free Admission for Vets

The Orange County Regional History Center invites veterans and active-duty military personnel to visit the museum for free on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in honor of Veterans Day. The 25th annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade will be held on that date and the parade route includes Central Blvd. in front of the History Center.
The History Center is home to the Historical Society of Central Florida’s collection of more than 35,000 artifacts, photographs, and archival materials documenting the rich heritage of our region. Ongoing exhibits include pioneers, theme-park era, destination Florida, Native American's, natural environment, and so much more to explore, touch, and see. Bring your 4-year-old or your high schooler – they are sure to have a great time with our hands-on activities and projects! We also offer homeschool program, school field trips, in-class supplies, and much more!
