Día de los Muertos & Monster Event

Downtown Arts District’s annual themed exhibition and outdoor experience. This event celebrates Día de los Muertos and Halloween. Now, in its 15th year, the Día de los Muertos & Monster Party features an Artist Opening Reception at CityArts Orlando that will showcase two exhibits: Day of the Dead and Monster/Halloween-inspired art created by regional, national and international artists. Honoring the Mexican holiday, the Día de los Muertos themed exhibition will include traditional ofrendas and catrina dolls provided by Casa de Mexico, CABETCAL and the Mexican Consulate of Orlando. The unique art exhibitions will be paired with a street party on opening night where guests will gather outside CityArts Orlando on Pine Street to enjoy!
All guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Día de los Muertos and/or Halloween attire. Join us for food, drinks, spooky art vendors, live performances including a mariachi band, Mexican folkloric ballet, and Phantasmagoria, and more!
