On the outskirts of a small rural town, a cantankerous woodworker is holed up in his workshop. Bitter and broken, he has shunned human contact for years until a mysterious figure from his past knocks on his door, beginning a tale of reforged bonds and renewed hope. Striking a New Note lives up to its name, sure to strike audience emotions in a variety of unexpected ways. Thanks to its smooth story and the relatable characters brought to life by a fantastic team, the show effectively manages to tug at heart strings while finding humor throughout.
