History Center’s Celebrating Latin American Arts & Culture

We’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with our Fourth Annual Celebration of Latin American Arts & Culture. We will be joined by Central Florida artists representing several Latin American countries including Mexico Lindo Folkloric Ballet, Flamenco Alborea, Isla Danza Venezuela, Peruvian Musicians, and visual artists who will display and sell their artwork. See live painting demonstrations, check out heritage performances, and enjoy family-friendly crafts and activities. This program is presented in partnership with Casa de Artes, Bienestar, Educación, Turismo, Cultura, Artesanías y Literatura (CABETCAL) by Beatriz Andrekovich.

The History Center is home to the Historical Society of Central Florida’s collection of more than 35,000 artifacts, photographs, and archival materials documenting the rich heritage of our region. Ongoing exhibits include pioneers, theme-park era, destination Florida, Native American's, natural environment, and so much more to explore, touch, and see. Bring your 4-year-old or your high schooler – they are sure to have a great time with our hands-on activities and projects! We also offer homeschool program, school field trips, in-class supplies, and much more!
