Audubon Center's Bilingual Bird Walk with Orange Audubon

  • When: Sunday, September 22, 2024,  9:00 am - 10:00 am
  • Location: Orlando Wetlands 25155 Wheeler Rd, Christmas, FL 32709

On this bilingual walk, participants will learn about the birds, argue about what different animals are properly called in our countries — cocodrilo or lagarto? — and enjoy new friendships. Audubon Florida and Orange Audubon are sponsoring this free event honoring Latino Conservation Week. Latino Conservation Week: Disfrutando y Conservando Nuestra Tierra is an initiative of Hispanic Access Foundation. Latino Conservation Week was created to support the Latino community getting into the outdoors and participating in activities to protect our natural resources.

Meet in the parking lot of Orlando Wetlands at 9 a.m. Bring sun protection and comfortable walking shoes. Trail is mostly packed sand/dirt.
