Bears walk among us daily but no worries! They’re more interested in your snacks than you. Come learn how we can protect these majestic beasts and leave with a new understanding of these amazing apex predators. Bill Frederick Park covers 183 acres of land alongside Turkey Lake, one of the top-five rated fishing lakes in the state of Florida. Whether you want to take advantage of the pool on hot summer days, bring your bike (or rent one) to explore the park trails, spend the afternoon fishing, or take the time to experience all the Children’s Farm, playground and Nature Connect Trail have to offer, you won’t have a problem finding things to do. Bill Frederick Park is home to a premiere disc golf course and boasts one of the top-five fishing lakes in the state of Florida. The park is designed for nature lovers and provides families, organizations and community groups with several recreational activities and scenic views.
