Fort Christmas Historical Park's Barnyard Banter Historical and Educational Programs for all ages! On the third Saturday of each month, a program is offered for free and is open to the public. Parents and children or grandparents and grandchildren will enjoy learning together about how things were done in the past. Fort Christmas is a park that includes a replica of a fort built in 1837 during the Second Seminole Indian War; a traditional Florida "Cracker" house and eight pioneer homes; a schoolhouse and lunchroom; a sugar cane mill and other historical farming equipment.
**3rd Saturday Monthly; Park opens at 8am until sunset so families can arrive early to check out the forts or stay after.
