Mother’s Day is a time to celebrate all the important women or caregivers in our life. It might be your mom, your grandma or anyone who has played an important role. On Mother’s Day, the History Center offers free admission to any caregiver accompanied by their loved one (of any age)! The History Center is home to the Historical Society of Central Florida’s collection of more than 35,000 artifacts, photographs, and archival materials documenting the rich heritage of our region. Ongoing exhibits include pioneers, theme-park era, destination Florida, Native American's, natural environment, and so much more to explore, touch, and see.
Bring your 4-year-old or your high schooler – they are sure to have a great time with our hands-on activities and projects! We also offer homeschool program, school field trips, in-class supplies, and much more!
