Are you ready to party? Join us for the largest combined Earth Day celebration in North America! The Zoo will have interactive activities, crafts and games that represent our love for the planet, including the chance to build a ‘Toad Abode’ for some helpful local wildlife at your own house! This is a party you don’t want to miss. By the time you leave, you’ll feel connected to nature and immersed in conservation. Let’s take action and celebrate! The Zoo will open to the public at 9 a.m., and the Party for the Planet will continue until 3 p.m. This event is included in general Zoo admission.
Enter the enchanted, tropical world of the Central Florida Zoo, a relaxing, entertaining and educational experience for the entire family. Discover a world of animals from around the world within this intimate park nestled in the heart of Florida. Stroll along shaded, winding boardwalks and paths as you see towering elephants, appreciate the beauty of the hyacinth macaw and listen to the song of the kookaburra. Or dare to meet some of the world’s most venomous reptiles and non-venomous snakes, lizards and frogs in the Herpetarium. Tropical Splash Ground: Kids of all ages will enjoy staying cool as they splash around the watery playground. The Splash Ground features unique water sources resembling some of the local residents and former residents of the Zoo!
