History Center's Wings & Wheels of Florida Workshop

  • When: Tuesday, April 9, 2024,  1:00 pm -  4:00 pm
  • Location: Orange County Regional History Center, 65 E. Central Blvd, Orlando, FL 32801
  • Cost: $2-10

Florida is the destination of many tourists, but how do they get here? This month’s program will highlight the different types of transportation that have made Florida thrive through history! The History Center’s monthly Hint of History drop-in sessions allow families to customize their learning experience and participate in activities at their own pace. As your family explores the museum, you will find a learning opportunity geared toward that month’s theme on each floor, including a mock trial in our historic 1927 courtroom. (Note that mock trials are planned pending participant availability.)

These monthly sessions offer a range of diverse topics in Central Florida history to help families supplement their studies with interactive and engaging activities. Our program is geared towards children ages 5 to 11 years old and is ideal for homeschool students, but all ages and families are welcome to join in on the fun and learning.
