City of Winter Garden's MLK Parade & Concert

Join us at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration to commemorate the life and legacy of this civil rights legend. Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, the free annual celebration includes a parade through historic downtown, live entertainment, children’s activities, and more! This signature City of Winter Garden event kicks off at 11:00 am with a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Parade in historic downtown. The parade travels along West Plant Street (from Woodland Street to Central Avenue). Bring a lawn chair or blanket and head to your favorite viewing spot to enjoy the procession of community floats and participants.


PARADE Kickoff at 11:00am. Immediately following the parade, the festivities continue with a live music concert, children’s activities, and more from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm, at the Downtown Pavilion. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from onsite vendors, as well as at downtown businesses.
