Edible Education Experience invites children to our Seed- to-Table Thanksgiving Class! During this amazing seed-to-table class your kids will have Thanksgiving, Florida Style! This 4-hour camp class for ages 8-13yrs old will teach your children all about historical and modern Florida agriculture and cultural food history as they practice life skills in the kitchen and garden. We will explore seasonally driven plant-based recipes that put a twist on classic traditions, and then they will gather around the table for what thanksgiving does best: celebrate with the food they just made! Our edible landscape provides countless opportunities for inspiration and education. Spanning over three thousand square feet, our all season garden is presented as a beautifully complex ecosystem where the intricacies of nature meet the culinary arts. This outdoor “classroom” is more than just hands on learning. We invite children to engage all of their senses as you reach for a better understanding of the world that surrounds us.
