St. Luke’s Sleep in Heavenly Peace Build Day

Please join us in celebrating Missions’ new partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace(SHP)! As part of our Restoring Hope, we are so excited that Sleep in Heavenly Peace fits well with our commitment to sustainable and dignified housing to our neighbors. Close to 800,000 children in the U.S. don’t have a bed. These children end up sleeping on floors – sometimes without a mattress. A bed is a basic need for the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of a child. SHP is a national organization answering the call to a national problem. They partner with organizations to build, assemble, and deliver top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!®
Mark your calendars for the next Team Build Day! Our goal is to build 60 beds! This activity is appropriate for ages 10 years and older. Parental presence required for all participants, age 12 years and younger.
