ARC's Holiday Raptor Mingle

The Avian Reconditioning Center invites you to our Holiday Raptor Mingle. It will be a fun filled event with crafts for kids, wreath crafts for adults, flight demonstrations, raffles, learning about Florida raptors, and more! Stop by for a personal encounter with our resident eagles, hawks, falcons, kites and owls. Our resident raptors are on display under the education pavilion and volunteers are always eager to share their knowledge of these fascinating birds with visitors.Our programs focus on raptors, their natural history and their importance to us and our environment. We have found that birds of prey are excellent ambassadors for teaching a variety of subjects including natural history, biology, conservation, and photography. Kids crafts and art projects can be included to further enhance the learning experience.
