AdventHealth for Women offers The Baby Place Academy®: Education and Support. Our team is here to prepare you for pregnancy, childbirth and beyond with classes led by registered nurses and certified parent educators. Expecting moms and partners across Central Florida can gain confidence going into parenthood with classes at The Baby Place Academy. The Baby Place Academy will be your village even before your baby arrives. AdventHealth's Coping & Comfort Class: This class prepares expecting parents for labor by providing them with the non-pharmacological pain management tools commonly used for coping with labor. We will practice key techniques for breath, movement, touch, and vocalization, and share tips for partners. This experiential session will give you the toolkit you need for delivery day. This virtual class is taught by Birthly with live, interactive instructors. AdventHealth families receive a 50% discount when using the code “AdventHealth” when registering.
A 90-mins class on non-pharmacological strategies for coping with labor. We'll being doing a lot of different coping exercises, so partner participation is highly encouraged!
