Come join us for a class at the Confectionery Academy of Bake Supply Plus! Although each class features unique techniques, there is a common element throughout all courses--you will participate in creating "MAGIC"! The Confectionery Academy proudly presents world class chefs, chocolatiers and sugar artists to spark the creativity within all students. The students will build technical skills learned in the classroom along with understanding how ingredients work within their creations. We look forward to sharing our passion for the "Art of Confectionery!" Take the mystery out of Macarons in this class where you will learn how to make these delightful and flavor-filled cookies. Students will make several different flavors of macarons to be filled with flavorful fillings. These little cookies are so delicious and require specific mixing and baking techniques which students will be guided through to achieve the best texture and flavors. Perfect for gift giving and sales. No experience is necessary and everything is provided.
Techniques covered: How to make a French meringue for the cookie batter, How to properly fold the mixture to give the macaron its classic “foot”, How to pipe batter for the perfect shape, Making flavorful fillings, and How to decoratively package the macarons
