UF/IFAS Extension-Orange County's Youth Nature Walk

Come join us for our free Youth Nature Walk on May 16, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30am at the UF/IFAS Extension-Orange County. The focus will be on observing natural environments to educate and inspire curiosity in our local plants and animals. The walks will take about an hour each and will be about 1 mile long, We will start the walk with an activity to help kids better learn more about the environment they are exploring. The pace will be leisurely to allow for kids to observe and ask questions about what they see. Walks will be led by two extension agents, several master gardener volunteers. At least one parent or legal guardian is required, per party. This class will be taught by Erin Reichel and Calvin Gardner, Orange County Extension Agents.
We want these walks to be educational, fun, and free, so we currently have decided not to charge for tickets—although donations are appreciated. If you do not plan to come on a specific week, please be mindful to not reserve spaces for the walk that you will not be using. This event is FREE but Pre-Registration is required.
