Orlando City Boat Club, previously known as North Orlando Rowing is an organization in Orlando, Florida. The team consists of boys and girls ages 12-18 who compete against other teams across the state of Florida. Orlando City Boat Club is a non-profit club of rowing enthusiasts organized to teach, practice and promote the sport of rowing in Central Florida, to encourage a health lifestyle, and to foster teamwork in the sport of rowing among youth of diverse backgrounds and levels of experience.
Our club takes rowers with or without rowing experience throughout the year. Our season is split between fall (the head season) and the spring (the sprint season). OCBC has a novice men and woman's team and a varsity men and woman's team. We practice 5 days a week starting in August and train into May. Rowers will compete in approximately 10 regattas every year. OCBC also offers middle school rowing and summer training.
