Stone Crab Swim

The Stone Crabs Swim Team, established in 1991, is a member-club of USA Swimming. This team is committed to the development of swimmers of all ages and abilities, within a low-key, competitive atmosphere. In addition to the swim team, we also offer both private and group swimming lessons, swim camps, racing dive and flip turn clinics, and Mommy & Me classes. Swimmers of all ages and abilities are welcome in our program. We coach our novice level swimmers with the same degree of commitment and excitement as we do our High School All-American swimmers.

Mommy and Me classes are a terrific way for a child to learn to swim when the parent, or other interested adult, wants to be directly involved in the swim instruction. This class is designed for children between the ages of 6 months old to 5 years old. Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Nannies, Sitters, friends, etc. are in the water with the baby/child. The adult holds the child, as they follow the instructions given by the swim instructor. A series of skills are introduced and taught, that will assist a child in learning how to swim. The class is set to music - the emphasis is on having fun while at the same time learning how to swim.
