The Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club encourages young men and women to participate in the shooting sports. These activities promote safety, responsibility, comradery and good sportsmanship. All of the Club's Junior Programs are supervised by coaches certified in their respective sports. Our athletes train on a regular basis, participate in club level matches, and often travel to regional and national competitions, where they have attained significant successes, achievements, respect and recognition.
The Junior Precision Shooting Program offers training and practice in target rifle and pistol shooting via the Winchester/National Rifle Association Marksmanship Qualification Program. Open to all young shooters ages 10-20 regardless of experience. The Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) is affiliated with the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF). The SSSF is the national governing body for youth speed shooting on steel targets, offering kids from 12 years old through college the opportunity to safely participate in exciting, team based shooting sports. SSSF and SASP is designed to instill in young people a set of personal or character traits for fair play, compassionate understanding, individual responsibility, sportsmanship, self-discipline and personal commitment.
