We are a therapeutic riding center that provides private horse riding lessons for children, specializing in therapy sessions for those that are suffering from Autism and ADHD along with physically, emotionally and developmentally disabled youth in Central Florida. The program began with one rider (with cerebral palsy) and a rescued pony named Bandit. With our first student and rescued pony, we were able to seek out more horses and ponies to rescue with the potential to help children in their therapy lessons. We believe everyone can interact with a Horse. Horses are perceptive, responsive, and loving. They do not judge. By interacting with a Horse our Children and their families are able to form a unique relationship that will assist them with the physical and emotional challenges they face on a daily basis. Equine-assisted activities and therapies literally change lives. Many children and their families who have participated in equine activities have stated the horses saved their lives.
Therapeutic horse back riding is a form of therapy for people who have a range of disabilities, including physical, emotional, cognitive, and social.
