The Orlando Magic Dreamers are Central Florida’s first and only competitive coed youth wheelchair basketball team, empowering youth with lower extremity disabilities to play, grow, and thrive through adaptive sports. The team competes regionally throughout the Southeast, often travels hundreds of miles to meet competition requirements in order to qualify for the NWBA National Championships each spring. More than just a team, the Dreamers are a movement rooted in inclusion, confidence, and community. As proud members of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA), the team fields both Prep (ages 5–13) and Junior Varsity (ages 14–18) divisions.
Basketball for these young athletes isn’t just a game—it’s a tool that builds resilience, leadership, and strength. On the court, players develop grit and determination. Off the court, they grow in confidence, build friendships, and find a sense of belonging. The Orlando Magic Dreamers are more than a sports team—they’re a family. And they are proof that when given the opportunity, every child can rise, compete, and inspire.
