Set inside an 11th-century style castle, the two-hour action-packed tournament begins. Girl Scouts will cheer for their knight as he competes to be named Champion of the Realm. During the show, our guests will dine on a "hands-on" four-course feast and witness authentic jousting, sword fighting, and medieval games of skill. Watch in awe as magnificent Andalusian stallions perform the beautiful art of dressage and a rare falcon takes flight above the Grand Arena. Playing the Past Badge Program: Juniors can earn the Playing the Past badge while learning about the people of the Middle Ages and experiencing an authentic medieval tournament! Animal Science (Merit) Badge Workshop : Troop members can participate in an interactive Animal Science Merit Badge workshop. Troop members are welcome to attend the 30-minute presentation included with the scout show and will cover information regarding horses including care and training of horses, breeds and anatomy of horses, and a visual demonstration on how to saddle and ride a horse. Educational handouts and diagrams are provided. Scouts can receive credit toward a merit badge* from a certified merit badge counselor.
