OUC Community & Educational Programs

At OUC, we are committed to protecting Orlando’s environment and believe that teaching young people at any age to respect the value of energy and water will help them grow into environmentally conscious adults in the years to come. Learn about our community programs to educate children about water conservation and find tools to help teach kids about energy generation. Project AWESOME: Energy and water lessons in the classroom. Speaker Request: Have a Conservation Specialist talk to your group. OUC conservation support personnel make public appearances to talk about energy and water conservation and renewable energy. These presentations are available to schools, business expos, professional organizations and homeowner association meetings. OUC specialists also provide face-to-face consultations and schedule audits. Tour Request: Tour OUC’s Gold LEED-certified building Reliable Plaza. OUC’s Reliable Plaza was the first building in Downtown Orlando to achieve the U.S. Green Building Council‘s Gold LEED certification. Your group can tour Reliable Plaza and see the how OUC’s commitment to the environment spans from floor to ceiling.
