Safe Sitter Certification

Do you feel ready to stay home alone, watch your brothers and sisters while your parents are gone, or babysit for younger children? Then maybe it’s time for Safe Sitter®. Safe Sitter® is for young teens who are ready to learn the skills they need to care for themselves and younger children. Safe Sitter® Essentials with a full CPR Certification is a 1-day class designed to prepare students to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. In addition, Safe Sitter® teaches young teens life and business skills, so that they know how to be prepared, be responsible, and be considerate whether they are babysitting or doing odd jobs for family, friends, or neighbors. Each student will participate in earning their Heartsaver certification through American Heart Association. Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. For many Heartsaver courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years. Classes run year round, summers too!
