Well-Child Exams and Sick Visits. Regular well-child exams are an invaluable time for parents and providers to focus on preventive care to help keep your children healthy. Each visit includes a complete physical examination to assess your child’s growth and development, as well as to help identify problems early. Hearing and vision screening, vaccinations, and other tests will be a part of some visits.
