Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive

The most spectacular and unique environmental sanctuary in all of Central Florida. The Lake Apopka North Shore is a true diamond in the rough. The restoration of former muck farms has transformed this area into a haven for wildlife and a jewel for the recreating public. Open Fri.-Sun. from 7 a.m. to 3 pm for exit by 5 pm. COVID-19 precautions include staying in your cars. The drive is very popular, so plan for at least 2 hours.
