Central Florida Railroad Museum

The Central Florida Railroad Museum is located in the historic 1913 Tavares & Gulf Railroad Depot in Downtown Winter Garden, Florida. The museum, which opened in 1983, is located one block south of Winter Garden’s thriving historic downtown and the West Orange Trail. Visitors will find a collection of photographs, documents, artifacts, memorabilia and information on Central Florida’s railroad history. The museum displays a large collection of dining car china and silverware, a 1938 Fairmont motor car, a velocipede hand car and an extensive lantern collection. Junior train enthusiasts will be delighted with the HO scale train layout, and an interactive Thomas wooden train layout.
