T-REX Cafe Education Outings

T-REX Cafe is a prehistoric family adventure! This interactive attraction includes a full-service restaurant with life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, woolly mammoths and simulated meteor showers, as well as an impressive Octopus Bar with moving tentacles and jellyfish, a dinosaur-themed retail store, and our interactive Paleo Zone—a kids play area with educational kiosks, our Discovery Dig fossil sandpit, and our Discovery Creek water mill where children can pan for precious gems and stones.

At T-Rex Cafe, the possibilities are endless! Life-sized animatronics, special effects, and unique dining areas each themed to represent three elements (Water, Fire, and Ice) help recreate the wondrous Age of the Dinosaurs! Educational Tours require advanced scheduling and can be customized for any age group or special needs. As you and your junior paleontologists journey back in time, you’ll walk through our glowing Ice Cave and experience a fiery meteor shower all while learning about different dinosaur species. Towards the end of the journey, you’ll experience the underwater world of our Coral Reef Dining Room where jellyfish descend from the ceiling and house over 5,000 gallons of saltwater fish tanks filled with tropical fish from all over the world!
