Few communities have both the opportunity to honor their veterans and also have the benefit of learning about the history of our military in their own museum. The Museum of Military History features numerous exhibits of the United States’ most prominent wars. Through the contributions and donations of the local community, we are able to preserve and display personal artifacts that were once owned and used by the local Veterans from during their time of service. Each piece serves as a reminder of the sacrifice that the men and women of our nation’s Armed Forces have paid for the freedoms and liberties that we have in this country. Exhibits include Revolutionary War, WW1 and WW2, Seminole Wars, Civil War, Indian Wars, Spanish-American Wars, Korean War, Vietnam War, Global Wars, and a Wall of Heros. Open from 10-6pm Tuesday thru Sunday and are always free for active Military and Children under 5.
